Top 5 Ultracasual Games Performance in Nigeria Q3 2023

In the third quarter of 2023, the ultracasual games sector in Nigeria saw varied performance across the top 5 apps. Using data from Sensor Tower, we explore the weekly downloads and active user trends for these popular games.

Antistress - Relaxing games by Moreno Maio, had a steady decline in weekly downloads, starting from 894 at the end of June and dropping to 462 by the end of September. Active users also saw a decrease, from 7K to around 5.2K over the same period.

Perfect Coffee 3D by Kwalee Ltd experienced an initial increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 999 in late July, before gradually decreasing to 405 by the end of September. Active users followed a similar trend, rising to about 4K in early August and then leveling off to around 3.2K towards the end of the quarter.

Frozen Honey ASMR from Crazy Labs showed significant fluctuations in downloads. The app peaked at 914 weekly downloads in early August before dropping sharply to 145 by the end of September. Active users mirrored this pattern, reaching a high of 1.6K in early August and then falling to 488 by the quarter's end.

Downloads hovered around 500-600 weekly, with a slight dip to 267 in mid-September, recovering to 321 by the end of the month. Acrylic Nails!, another title from Crazy Labs, had an interesting trajectory. Downloads surged to 1.2K in late July but fell to 201 by the end of September. Active users reflected this surge, peaking at 2.8K at the end of July before stabilizing around 1.2K by the quarter's end.
